I was pleasantly surprised by this, given that Neutrogena
glosses have got mixed reviews. The colour Pout looks like a
warm coppery-brown in the tube, but goes on more of a warm, sandy
rose with a light coppery sheen. It gets more pink as it fades.
The shimmer is not really noticeable unless you look closely, but adds a nice depth to the colour.
It's medium-pigmented for a gloss, so the colour is "definite"
rather than a hint. The finish is wet and shiny but it doesn't
feel like you have a lot of gunk on your lips. The wand
lets you draw defined lines if you want, and I didn't find
that it bled or smudged noticeably around the edges. It has
a slight fruity scent, but I didn't notice it particularly
after putting the gloss on, it's nowhere near the WnW Liquid Lipstick
scent! It also lasts pretty well for a gloss.
All in all, a great colour for daytime, very versatile and flattering, and
a good product.
