I bought this mascara after my beloved Oil of Olay Beauty Mascara's three month "safety" period was over. Not that I didn't enjoy the Beauty mascara, but I am always open to trying new products. As I hold Neutrogena skin care products in high esteem, I thought I'd try out one of their mascaras. Last summer, I tried the "Full Length" mascara and found it to be disappointing -- boring, stuck together skinny lashes -- but thought the new mascara's name sounded promising.

Again, I am disappointed. Not so much with the product, but with the advertising. Had the name of the mascara been "Natural Look Mascara", then I would have given this mascara 5 stars out of 5, because that is what this mascara does deliver: a natural, soft, slightly lengthened look. It makes my eyes look as though they had always been long and slightly darkened without any enhancement. There are no clumps, no smudging, no smearing, and the formula lasts well into the day, though not all day. If I were to venture onto the beach or simply go out of the house for running errands or visiting friends, then this mascara would be a nice pick. However, I was under the impression that I was buying a product that would give me luscious and full lashes.
