I admit, I've tried cheap eyeliners before and was very disappointed because either they didn't have enough pigment or the pencil was too hard. I bought the dark gray pencil. It's just like more expensive brands. The pencil was comfortable and there's plenty of color. I even use it as a brow pencil, since my hair is so dark, and apply brown brow powder over it.
