When I was shopping at Walmart for a friend's birthday, I took the chance
to try out the N.Y.C Blush, Liquid Lip Shine, and Cover Stick. I loved the
features of this Liquid Lip Shine. The colors I bought are Cappacino and
Sungold Pink. Cappacino is a beautiful shiny light beige. Sungold Pink is
a wonderful pink with gold shimmer. On you lips, it's more like a golden
bronzy color (great for the summer!). The packaging is very chic and sleek.
This makes the product looks so much better than the products of it's competitor,
Wet 'n' Wild. Everything looks really high quality. The texture is okay,
not too thin or thick, but sticky (for the staying power). It works great.
The only problems I had with it is that it does tend to settle in the lines
of you lips (I have somewhat chapped lips). So, you should put lip gloss over
it (for extra shine). The color is good, but the product isn't really that
shiny. More like liquid lipstick (not liquid lip gloss). The only other fault
is the smell. It have a chemical or bad perfume smell that reminds me of Estee
Lauder's All Day Lipstick (not as strong). However, I worn it three times now
and I'm already used to the scent (nothing like Wet 'n' Wild's lipsticks).
After trying N.Y.C's products, I think I'll rather be spending money on them
instead of Wet 'n' Wild.
