What a gorgeous color! "Dusty Rose" goes on my rather unpigmented lips as a medium mauvey-pink w/just a hint of *almost* goldish shimmer/light frost! The consistency of the NYC Liquid Lip is more like a liquid lipstick than a gloss; but the consistency is smooth and creamy, and the formula highly pigmented and fairly long-lasting, particulary for a product this inexpensive. Comes in a tube w/sponge-tip applicator; but as with many lippies packaged like this, the lipcolor occasionally "creeps" up the stick and gets around the mouth of the tube. Has a very generic "lipstick" scent--not too strong--that disappears quickly; but those bothered by less-than-sweet scents might be unhappy with this. Personally, I find these lipcolors to be lovely, inexpensive drugstore treasures. About $2.
