A clear light green gel that is effective but somewhat drying and on the harsh side, so I'd recommend this only for oily skin. Terrific natural-herbal scent! It says it washes off clean, but I felt it left a little bit of residue each time, but nothing to make you break out. All in all good for the oiliest skins, but a little strong for combination/normal to dry skin.
