I hadn't looked at Origins' shadows for a long time because they used to be flat, unflattering colors. Well, no more. I found beautiful, neutral, shimmery, tightly pressed shadows that are so attractive and easy to layer, and with a good brush, are incredible. They last pretty well, but when used under the eye, can travel, but most shadows do that. I got the colors Hollywood and Vine, a mossy taupy/green/gray brown that is very, very pretty on, and is just shimmery enough. I also got Cocoa Loco, a taupe/brown/gray neutral that is smoky and shimmery, but doesn't look "dirty", dusty, or overdone on the eyes, even on pale skin. On Pluto is a blue/gray/sterling/pewter color that is also shimmery and very lovely as a crease or monochromatic, all-over color. I also got Night Sky as a definer---a dark blue that has a lot of, but not too much gray, and a little bit of sparkle. All of the colors are tight pressed, easily layered and blended, and very flattering. I hope to get some more colors in the future. They cost $11.00, and Origins has a website at Origins.com.
