I 'inherited' this product from my mom who didn't like the color on her (no surprise, as her coloring is completely different than mine.) The color is fabulous -- a very matte, richly pigmented browny rose with some blue undertones. You could use this as a liner or as a full lip color. The only mild complaint I have is that the texture is somewhat dry. If you are used to very creamy lipsticks this may take some getting used to; however, I put a tiny bit of balm under it to make it go on smoothly, then sometimes tap a bit of a complimentary lipstick (Olay Bed of Roses works nicely) in the center of my bottom lip for more moisture. It lasts extremely well even after I eat and drink, and this little fat pencil has lasted me a long time, too!
