I have very oily skin, & my face usually gets shiny about an hour after I apply my makeup. But this keeps my face from getting shiny for hours. It's great! The only minor detail I don't like is that you have to rub it in real good or you will get light chalky streaks, after it dries, in areas that weren't rubbed in real good. But you can easily rub them off even after it dries.
