I have dry chapped lips that nothing seems to help. I have tried every balm, moisturiser and exfoliant on the market to no avail. Then I decided to order one of Paula Begoun's products. At first when I tried this I was rather apprehensive - it is a grainy, thick white paste that looks rather uninteresting. You apply the product to your lip from the tub and rub with your finger until the dead, dry skin flakes off. I had to use it twice to get rid of my flakes (I have alot!) and after my lips were slightly red and irritated. However this didn't last long. Once you apply a balm afterwards your lips feel great. My only complaint was the price for such a tiny amount. Also- you could just get similar results from using a paste of baking soda and water. I do like this though and i would buy it again. A good inverstment for impossibly chapped lips!
