When it comes to eyeshadow I have no self-control. I was aching to try these, so when the company offered free shipping over a holiday weekend I jumped at it. I bought "Smokey Taupe" and "Beige". Later I tried "Smokey Grey" and I love them all. The color is rich and opague, the texture is smooth and velvety, and the application is sublime. You can go from a soft, sheer glaze to a heavier opague covering in seconds with a good brush. My only criticism - the colors aren't really "cool" - "Smokey Taupe" is a warm brown and the warmer shades are a bit too orangy or copper for me. I won't knock off a point for such a personal preference, though. This is reasonably priced, terrific eyeshadow.
