As much as I adore Paula Begoun, all of her books, her newsletter and most of her products, I must admit that I was disappointed with this one. This is a matte foundation for oily skin. The colors are very good, and the SPF is excellent, and for these reasons I gave it a 3. Otherwise I found it thin and runny and it tended to separate. My big problem occured with the way the product wore after application. It dries to a nice smooth matte finish, but this powder-like surface brushes right off and disappears. I was removing it as I applied my other makeup! While this isn't worth keeping (at least in my experience) don't judge her other products by this one. Paula's Select blushes, eyeshadows, concealers, All Bases Covered Foundation for normal to dry skin, powders, lipsticks and lipglosses are top of the line and worth coveting for their gorgeous colors, terrific application and wear.
