I would say that this cleanser is more of an emulsion. I like LATHER! I tried to wash my makeup off the other day with this stuff and I had to do it twice just to remove all the mascara. And I only wear one coat of mascara that is also made to be removed with soap and water! Anyway, it left my skin feeling a bit dry and tight. It also doesn't smell so great. I'm now using it to clean my makeup brushes and sponges instead.
