this is a bha product containing 2% salicylic acid that is designed to fight oil and blemishes. living in florida during the summer absolutely requires me to do SOMETHING to control oil, even though i have somewhat normal skin otherwise. this product is absolutely amazing. the consistency is like that of a scrub, but you leave it on your face for 5 minutes and wash it off. the first time i did this i was surprised at how soft my skin was. the directions tell you to use it once a day, which i have without any irritation whatsoever. anyone with sensitive skin, however, might want to try this once a week. it really is a great product for the price.
