Chalky and doesn't offer any coverage
I originally raved about this product, but I am changing my tune. When I first tried the pressed powder foundation, I was impressed by how it felt on my skin. What I didn't take into account was how calm my acne was at the time. I had next to nothing to cover, so I was satisfied.
Well, now I am thoroughly disappointed. My acne is back to it's old self - red and angry - the likes of which I haven't seen in 2 years. I used BareMinerals foundation for those 2, virtually acne-free years, but complained about the cost. Now, I realize it is absolutely worth the 25 bucks every 3 months. I ended up buying my good old standby at BE. Now I spent about $40 instead of just $25.
Physician's Formula has the right idea, going eco-friendly and all, but they need to reformulate this line. It is too chalky, uneven and drying, even for oily skin. Even using the right brushes didn't save this powder. It holds nothing to genuine mineral powder.
I might try to use this as a finishing powder when I run out of Mineral Veil, but I'm not sure that I want to risk it even as a top layer. I miss my old skin!
