I bought two of these, in black-brown and black. I must admit that I was disappointed in the packaging; I really expected the brush to be attached to the tube, when actually it's just a gimmick, and the brush and wand are on the cap just like every other mascara. The tube is nothing special. I did buy two, and have two different opinions. The black-brown is a good color, more brown than black, and the coverage was nice, but it didn't thicken all that much. Worse, the tube seemed to dry up within a matter of weeks, and the mascara got all clump-y and yucky. Ever the optimist, I tried the black next--and ooooh, baby, it really is like false eyelashes in a tube!! I couldn't believe it was the same product! One coat of the black curls, lengthens, and thickens my skimpy lashes just beautifully--and a SECOND coat produces that coveted falsh eyelash effect. Va-va-va-voom! I love this in black; I'm not sure about the brown, but we want our false eyelashes in black anyways, don't we? I gave this 4 instead of 5 because of my poor opinion of the brown mascara, but I could just have gotten a dud. The black is a 5-5-5.
