Gimmicky, yes, but I really like this stuff. It feels really neat going on, gives my pale skin a pretty glow, and has a very nice, fine texture. I even like the brush in the lid, although it's kind of hard to get the hang of putting it back! I'm not sure how this would work on darker skin tones since it only comes in one shade, but for pale skin, it's really nice. When I use it with Px Unmakeup and Camouflage Cream (can you tell I like Prescriptives?), it makes my skin look flawless :).
