I have been using this and my Aveda Inner Light Dual compact and I think the Red Earth is comparable to the Aveda in performance. Red Earth goes on semi-matte and is not drying at all if your skin is well moisturized. It will have some oil breakthrough for my skin but it is easily touched up. It has no fragrance and a higher SPF of 23 compared to Aveda's SPF 12. However, the Aveda does have a refill but I think its still more pricey compared to the Red Earth.
