I have been using Remede Hydrolock lip balm since last fall and have been extremely happy with it. It is unlike any other lip balm I have ever used in that it does not seem to have a petroleum base. Rather, it is a white lotion formulation that has a smell that I like. It was expensive but I bought it in the fall and probably have half of it left. While other lip balms I have used (like Kiehl's) almost seemed to have a rebound effect, where I would feel like the more balm I used the more chapped my lips seemed, Remede Hydralock is very soothing and has permanently taken care of any chapping I once had.
