did I just get a bad one?
After hearing so much raving about this product on MUA, I decided to give it a go as I really wanted a long wearing eyeliner - one that I wouldn't need to keep touching up during my day. I figured this would be good.
Apparently, not. The one that I have has a lasting power only a little longer than the much cheaper pencil kind I had before. I find myself going back and forth over the line, trying to darken it to a point that I like (even though everyone else says that the colour is strong for them). Despite it being "long wearing", it lasts for maybe four hours until I have to touch it up again. It travels into the corner of my eye even more than my cheaper pencils.
It's totally possible that I got a bad one, because my experience using it is so different than everyone else's. It works just fine for me as a basic eyeliner, though for something actually longwearing (and when I say long wearing, I mean that I just want it to get through a 6 1/2 hour workday without me having to heavily touch it up in the middle of that time), I suppose I'll have to try something else.
