Finally something I can sweat in at work at still feel made up
I am a preschool teacher and I spend an entire day in a non airconditioned building sweating non stop every humid summer. Although I am not in an atmosphere where my looks take any kind of priority I simply always have enjoyed feeling good about myself. As a very fair skinned brunette with skin that turns red (on my cheeks and chin) very easily I always felt my skin held me back. At 13 I started wearing foundation and it evened me out and suddenly I was considered pretty. So as you can see at 26 foundation is still a important part of my life. my life. I made covering the ruddiness in my face high priority when selecting a foundation. I tried everything Color me beautiful gave me this green cream to put on under my foundation (not too much at a time though!!!) I tried that and came out looking like a return of the Dead. Under my pale foundation the green looked gray. Next I tried every department store brand as well as drugstore. Covergirl, Maybelline, Jane,WetNwild,Physicians Formula,Loreal,Cornsilk,Almay,Lancome,Estee Lauder,Chanel,Clinique, and I always picked a medium to heavy coverage to conceal my red face. None of these left me completely happy. They either sweated off or did not provide enough coverage to hide the red. I was recommended to try Derma Blend but it never matched me. It was either too white or orange. Finally I found Revlon Colorstay and never looked back. It stays on and does not sweat off. It comes in several shades so whether I am pale or go for an airbrush tan I have a shade that is perfect for the occasion. And most importantly it conceals my red face better than anything. I do not suffer from Rosecea as I have seen a dermatologist , but when I get warm, hot, cry,or get angry My cheeks and chin go fire engine red and atlas I found something to even this out. So my situation may not be the most common but if you have uneven skin tone from redness, or bad acne, pigmentation that is blotchy or uneven try Revlon colorstay with softflex. IT WORKS WONDERS! When I get an airbrush tan I wear Golden Beige and when I am au natural tan free I wear Buff. Either way I wouldnt wear anything else! I found that Walgreens, Rite Aide,Fred Meyers, Walmart, and Target always have it in stock. I paid 12.99 at Rite Aide and Walgreens and only 10.79 at Target so you decide where you want to go and what you want to pay. (Target was not on the store guide not sure why but I go there as well as Walgreens)
