Well, this is a funny story. I have the WORST lizard lips in the history
of the human race. ALL lipsticks dry out my lips. I have tried everything
from the drugstore brands (Cover Girl, Maybelline, Wet n Wild etc.) all the way
up to the Dept. Store brands (Estee, Lancome, Arden etc.). Nothing worked.
Long story short, I was browsing at a drugstore recently, and decided to
check out Revlon. I don't know why it never before occurred to me to try
it. Better late than never, I guess.
Anyway, the old-fashioned Revlon lipstick in the tube (the green is
Moondrops and the black is called Super Lustrous) is wonderful! It is
the only lipstick I have ever found that didn't dry out my lips. The
colors are also wonderful, if you're like me SICK of brown lipstick.
They have a wonderful selection of pinks, reds, berries, corals etc.
I have found that Revlon lipstick, along with using Vaseline at night,
has done wonders for my lips. The only downside is that it's a little
pricy. But I'll gladly pay $8.50 to not look like a side show freak.
