All I can say is - thank goodness the mascara was a freebie from the Revlon website (I'd filled out a questionnaire), otherwise I'd be *really* ticked off. The Colorstay Extra Thick Lashes mascara is by far THE WORST mascara product I've ever tried!! According to the package, this mascara supposedly contains "lash-hugging silk fibers" to build volume, and a "specially designed brush with multi-tiered bristles" to build lashes without clumping. Ok... When I first pulled the wand from the tube, the chunky "thickening" brush was so gunked with the product that I had to wipe it off before I could apply it. If the brush *was* "specially designed," then I suggest that its designers go back to the drawing board! I've never had such a case of "spider legs" in my life! Not only did the mascara clump, but it also caused my lashes to stick together in a gooey mess. Despite wiping the brush completely before applying the product, I still managed to make a huge mess on my eyelids - arrrgh! I've *never* had a problem like this with my old standby, L'Oreal's Voluminous. If I could have, I would have given this product a "0" rating. This is one free sample that's heading for the trash...
