This is a product that claims to darken and define lashes, while lasting for up to three days without smudging or flaking. Sounds like a great time saver right? Well not really. The formula is a thin liquid that goes on thick and goopy and dries very quickly. Clumping is almost unavoidable, and so expect to spend several minutes combing through your lashes once they've dried. And though they will look darker and defined, up close they aren't going to look glossy or totally natural. They'll just look like you have mascara on, and will feel quite stiff.
I slept with this on for one night and woke up to discover my lashes were 'gluing' themselves to my skin and had transformed into a spiky, clumpy mess. Washing my face didn't solve this, and combing through them proved near impossible. It was pretty nasty. I got fed up and used an oil based makeup remover to take the stuff off. (And even then it required some tugging to remove everything --- to its credit, this really doesn't budge once it's on!)
If I'm ever in need of a *really* long lasting, waterproof formula, I might reach for this. But for everyday use, this proved to be even more of hassle than ordinary mascara formulas. For brides and synchronized swimmers only!
