I'm really not sure how to rate this product. I give it a 3 and yet I'd recommend it if you're curious. I was surprised when I opened the lid. I expected it to have the texture of a gel blush, but it really is the texture of jam. Thick and gelatinous. I liked the look of it on my cheeks -- a very natural "I've been skiing" flush -- but it's staying power was not as good as most gel blushes I've tried. On my lips, it was a total bust. It provides a very faint, DRY "stain" to the lips. I put "stain" in quotations because it doesn't really penetrate the lips enough to stain them for a good length of time. Also, if you use this on your lips you MUST use a gloss or balm on top because it provides absolutely no moisture or gloss. In the final analysis, I'll have fun using this as a natural looking blush on the days I want a very pared down look, and I can recommend it for that purpose, but I probably won't be buying another jar of it.
