I am totally hooked on this nail polish. It's a set of a colour and a top coat. The package says not to use a base coat, so I didn't bother. The nail polish is a thin enough consistency that I can quickly apply thin coats to my nails without too much hassle or fuss. This is very important because I'm not very skilled at applying my own nail polish and tend to be a bit slower and mess things up. The enamel also smoothed out across my nail so that it had a nice smooth finish. The top coat is also nice and thin and drys with a really nice shine. Usually my nail polish starts to look really worn after the first 24 hours, but this stuff is really tough. I've spent an entire day typing at the computer and handling a lot of different stuff and there isn't a single scratch. The only possible drawback was that I didn't see a very large selection of colours available, but that could have been the particular store I bought it from. The colour I bought, Always Amber, is a deep red with gold/orange shimmer to it. Very nice for going out to a special occasion, but a bit too glam for my everyday wear.
