Sometime in 2004 I was introduced to Revlon's Colorstay nail polish and was extremely skeptical about chipping and the normal woes that comes with nail polish. It worked decently, but nothing to ooh and awe about, but last weekend, I was at the store and noticed that Revlon revamped the Colorstay nail polish formula. I had major issues with bubbling before, and was curious about the new formula. I did my nails Saturday, and one week later, ok well more like 5 days later (I wanted a new color) there was NO chipping--NADA, ZIPPOLA! And get this, I did my nails Saturday morning, that night I had an urge to redo my closet organizer, and spent four hours using a drill, screw drivers, screws etc. I banged up my nails, everything that you would think would make it peel, scratch and chip, but NADA, no chippage at all. You get the normal wear off at the tips, but extremely neglectable. Taking the polish off, well taking it off was a bit of a struggle, but I did put two coats of clear on instead of one. If you love your nails, but hate chipping etc, go for the colorstay...AND it dries to a hard finish in under an hour, instead of several hours like it would for a base, color and top coat. It's pricey compared to single color bottles, but look for sales!
