"Cool Chrome" is a limited edition color, so snap it up quick. It's a very pretty periwinkle lavender color that dries to a smooth metallic finish (like chrome). It's a very "pretty" color, and the effect is new enough so that you feel trendy, but the color is soft enough so that you don't feel trendy-victim. It is appropriate for any age group. I only paint my toenails so I can't comment specifically on how the formula holds up to the rought treatment fingernails typically get.
