First off, let me explain that my skin can be very oily in my t-zone, yet dry on my cheeks (yes, the exact definition of combo. skin!) Most mattifying products don't even phase my skin's ability to produce oil, so I had given up on bothering with them a long time ago. I was browsing through Target when I stumbled across this powder which has been said to be similar to MAC's Blot powder. I picked up it up in "Sheer" since I am a true PPP. I'm somewhat divided in my opinion... If I apply it too heavily, my skin gets super dry and flaky, even on my t-zone. I also have to be very careful to avoid my dry cheek area or else I will have that flaky thing going on there as well. IMO, that's not a pretty sight. It's nice in the fact that it doesn't provide color and it does seem to keep my oilies at bay a little while longer than most powders. As a result, I think this is one of those products where YMMV (your mileage may vary).
