My hair has been in terrible condition for about the last year and a half. I have a very oily scalp, and damaged, dry hair. Nothing I have found has done anything for my hair and I have tried almost everything. After seeing some advertisements for Rusk Deep Shine I decided to try it. I got in on a deal where I got 8 oz. sizes of the shampoo and conditioner together for only $8.25, when they are normally around $14 each! The shampoo and conditioner have a curious "marine" kind of scent without being bad. The shampoo gets my hair clean without making it feel like straw. The conditioner is light and can be left on for a couple of minutes or used as a leave-in conditioner. I leave it on for a few minutes in the shower and my hair is absolutely silky, smooth, and tangle-free when I rinse it out. It has really given my hair back some shine, and helped to control frizziness. I gave the products a four instead of a 5 because I seem to use a lot when I am washing my hair. As large as the regular size bottle is I would think it doesn't last as long as you would want it to for $14. Otherwise, this is fantastic shampoo and I will definitely be buying it again.
