way better than the chi:)
i love this straightener! its so fun to use too:) its plate sizes are 1.5 inches wide. i will briefly list the cons and pros about this iron(because truthfully all irons do have both):

Pros:)

*very lightweight (1.1 lbs)
*doesnt pull or snag hair
*lasts longer than most irons
*ceramic and tourmaline( C+T= very shiny & healthy hair);most irons dont have both
*thin (fits almost anywhere)
*can curl, flip, and straighten
*antifrizz
*leaves hair very moveable & lightweight
*seals cuticle:)
*takes less passes of iron through hair, thus taking a lot less time to style hair
*very long 9 foot flexible cord(its not stiff at all)
*has adjustable temperatures that go up to 410 degrees F
*really can straighten even african american hair
*leaves hair really silky and smooth!
*heats up in about 30 seconds or less:)

Cons:(

*becomes very hot on the tips of the outside, so you squeeze handle, not tips
*isnt cheap ($125)
*damages hair(like any other iron, but not as much)
*only has a one year limited warranty(not too big of a deal)

well i hope my review has helped you some!
