The active ingredient of this product is titanium dioxide and it does not contain any chemical sunscreen. It is water resistant and specially formulated for those with sensitive skin. I have combo acne prone skin and this sunscreen hasn't broke me out. It gives a matte finish and doesn't add oiliness to my face. It is titanium dioxide based, so it leaves a slight whitish cast, but this hasn't bothered me because I wear foundation and it doesn't change the color of my foundation. You will not be bothered by the scent either; it has a slight smell like baby lotion. This sunscreen doesn't even sting when applied in the eye area.
