I am normally not a fan of matte eyeshadows, but I do like Shu's mattes. They are silky and not at all chalky as some other brands of matte eyeshadows. M Olive 484 is a deep olive green. It complements my brown eyes and olive skintone beautifully. The color starts off sheer, but you can easily build color intensity. I like to wear it on the lid for a soft smoky look or in the crease with a gold shade on my lids. UD Half Baked works especially well with it. If you like to wear warm olive eyeshadow, then I recommend this shade whether or not the matte finish is your cup o' tea. You can jazz it up by mixing it with a shimmer shade. Beautiful olive + the out-of-this-world Shu texture = winner.
