This lives up to the claim of being gentle, but I don't see the point of using this scrub as it has no effect. The gel- like formula uses very minimal beads- certainly nowhere near enough to cause any friction needed for exfoliating. I believe that the effectiveness of a gentle scrub lies in the surface texture of the beads being smooth and round, not reducing the bead volume by 75%!
