i have not tried many st. ives products so i can't speak on the quality of the company but this one product i know is awesome. i dunno what made me get this, but i had my eye on it for a while before i picked up..finally i did and i couldn't be happier. the lightweight gel smells really good and can also be stored in the fridge for an extra cooling effect. so far i have just been using this on my eye area (which takes such a small amount that i think this one bottle may last me forever)..but yeah, i've been using it on my eye area and the results have been lovely. it seems to instantly soothe, moisturize and just overall make my skin feel better..and the best part...tho there's no proof but my word..i could swear that this has made a difference on some fine lines i had starting to develop around my eyes. granted, it could just be the increased moisture that is helping... i dunno what it is but i love this stuff.
