Apres Beach is one of the two e/s trios in Stila's Resort Collection. The colors are light golden pink with a slight peach cast, medium copper, and dark cocoa brown. The first 2 colors have shimmer and a slight frosty sheen, but the dark cocoa brown color has a velvet-y texture with a bit of shimmer. The lightest and darkest colors are versatile, but the copper shade is iffy. I can see this not working for many people, particularly for those with pale skin. The bottom line for me is that I love this trio. All three colors work for me and give me eye a warm sparkle. The texture of the Resort Collection trios is very fine and smooth as well. Although I love my Bohemian e/s trios from Fall 2002, the texture of the Resort trios (see also my review of Apres Ski) is smoother and finer IMO. My complaint with this trio is that the cocoa brown color is not dark enough to be a good liner for me. I've heard and read that AB is similar to the Bohemian Bronze trio, and since I missed out on it I wanted to make sure I at least had the opportunity to purchase this one. Fortunately, AB is a winner for me. If you can wear warm-toned eye shadows, check out AB.
