Apres Beach is one of two e/s trios in Stila's Resort Collection. This trio is the cool, gray-toned theme – pale pink, medium gray, and very dark gray. The light and medium shades contain shimmer and frost, but the very dark gray has a velvet-y texture with slight shimmer. The dark gray makes a fantastic liner, but also works beautifully as a crease and outer corner shade ... especially when applied with a light hand. For those who normally cannot wear gray eye shadows but would like to, give this trio a look. The grays are not blue-toned so they may work for warmer-toned people. A friend of mine who looks better in warm than cool tones can wear this trio. As with Apres Beach, the texture of these eye shadows is silky smooth ... smoother than the texture of the eye shadows in the Fall 2002 Bohemian trios IMO. While AS contains basic shades, this trio isn't boring. The colors are still rich and the eye shadows themselves are long lasting. However, if you already have colors like these in your collection you may not find AS interesting. However, if you love gray e/s like I do, then it's a must-have. ;-)
