It's black eyeshadow fused with multi-colored, microglitter. It's great alone for a night look, or it can double as a liner for slightly sparkling eyes. It has long lasting pigment and doesn't crease. One dowfall is that when applying glitter gets all over your face. Overall great product, I also love Midnight Cowboy (glittery taupe), and Uzi (glittery silver)
