In the tube, this lipstick is a deep blue with silver glitter in. I was initially very reluctant to even try it on, but the Urban Decay consultant persuaded me to. On my lips (which are quite pigmented), the blue turned purple, and the silver sparkles were very striking. The lipstick is quite sheer, and surprisingly wearable with my pale skin. However, I would suggest that it not be built up too much - this might suggest a terminal case of emphysema, rather than a glamorous siren. Four stars for the unusualness, the lastingness and the sheer fun of this lipstick.
