This lip liner is indeed very light if you have dark lips. It looks like it is neutral to slightly dark on me but I am fair. #715 is definately darker, it is kind of a mulberry color and worth a try if #666 is too light. I have read that #666 is comparable to MAC Spice liner, I do not see it. Spice is a light neutral beige while #666 is a pinky-brown with shimmer. I have 2 of the #666 liners and they is a definite difference in the colors!?! When you buy these liners, check them against the others on the rack. You might find a shade you like better with in the same number.
