I've been using this color off and on for years. It is a deep blackberry. However, used alone it is a little dull. I got a tip yeras ago from someone-I put a brandy colored pencil liner ON TOP of it. I use Avon the brandy luxury liner (discontinued), but it is a medium red brown with a hint of pink. There are probably similar liners out there. This combo with the liner on top makes a deep brown berry bitten color that I've never found in any lipstick. It is a timeless color, I think, because I have a picture of my mother in the late 1950's wearing a similar color with little other makeup and a pageboy hairstyle. The liner also smooths the texture of the lipstick that is waxy. This combo really lasts, also.
