One item MAC Technacolour haul

I went to check out the eye shadows and eye liners in this collection today. Although the eye shadows were really beautiful, I found the sparkle to be too glittery for my tastes so I didn't get any. I prefer shimmery shadows. I was particularly interested in getting Lightshade and B-rich. I was very close in getting Lightshade since I think it would be a great e/s to use for a neutral eye look. I'm actually still debating on going back and getting it.
I did get Uniform technakohl liner and love it. It's so pretty. I love greens so I immediately feel in love with it.
I was curious as to how this compared to Tarnish and Buried Treasure colorwise and I just tested the three on my hand and this is what I came up with...
Tarnish -shimmery emerald green
Buried Treasure -shimmery hunter green
Uniform -shimmery olive green

They also had the Plushglass collection out but I didn't have time to check out the lipglasses.

I tested the Plushglasses, and I hated them http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif. They have the same type of consistency as the Lip Gelees (not tacky, but slippery), and they are so incredibly sheer, I may as well have had nothing on at all. So while the colors look amazing in the tube, I highly rec trying one on, because what you see is NOT what you get.

Plus, they have that tingly sensation that most plumping products do ... wasn't offensive, but it had this cherry-ish sort of scent to it that I wasn't crazy about.

Just thought I'd put out my $0.02 in case anyone is thinking about these ... not worth the money, IMHO.

Enjoy your new eyeliner, Claudia - I'm tempted to go try that color for myself because it sounds gorgeous. I have Tarnish and Buried Treasure, but it sounds like I might need Uniform too. And Christine, I think I can definitely skip Plushglass. I gotta check out the new e/s though!

These eyeliners remind of Clinique quickliner, I didn't try the MAC so I don't know how they compare. Just a few reviews on makeupalley:

You mentioned you wanted Lightshade e/s. Just my review even though you didnt ask for it. I thought this was pretty in the pot (because I wanted it for a natural look too) but it is so chalky on my skin! Plus it hardly showed up! Silverchick - Do you know anything about Clinique's new lip plumping glosses? Shades, do they have a brush applicator, etc.? I am impatiently waiting for these too!

Hi! I believe there are only like 5 or 6 shades, I have seen 2, a bright pink (think MAC Pinkocrasy) and a deep berry color. My ex-coworker gave me one (that she and the others got as a gift from Clinique) but I threw it away the second she gave it to me after she said something really rude. No biggie though cos the l/g was all used and I could smell her cigarette breath on it. Okay whoa sorry a little OT.
