This thing only happens to me in the summer, but my appetite shrinks. I don't get very hungry and I skip meals or just eat a very tiny meal. Is is okay to not eat if you aren't hungry?

I think it is fine if you don't eat if you're not hungry. It beats overeating. If it helps, have little snacks throughout the day. If you are really active though, you should not skip meals because you don't want to burn more calories than you consume. But if you start feeling dizzy or faint, then go back to eating 3 meals.

Providing you are not starving yourself it shouldn't be a huge problem.
I find in summer when it gets really hot I don't eat three meals a day, but I will have a good breakfast and dinner (as it is not so hot early in the am and late in the pm).
At lunch I tend to eat something like yoghurt with dried fruit and nuts or have a fruit salad, perhaps even a simple greek or cesear salad basically something light and cool.

I agree, as long as you are not starving yourself you're okay. I don't eat a lot in Summer when it gets really hot and humid. I'll have a bowl of cereal or oatmeal or something for breakfast, some yogurt for lunch and then a full meal for dinner like chicken and rice or steak and a baked potato or something. But if it's really hot I only have a sandwich or toast or some more yogurt for dinner. As long as you're eating enough to get you through the day without getting light headed or anything then you're fine. http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gifJust be sure to get plenty of fluids in you!
