Okay I know this sounds crazy but I had already been using J&J Head to Toe. I guess I hate the powdery apricot smell cause I haven’t felt like repurchasing. So now I put a little Suave Green Apple shampoo in my washcloth to wash my face and I have not had any problems.

I love Sauve! I remember their shampoos smelling like cough syrup and drying out my oily hair when I tried it years ago. Now I love their shampoos and body washes.

I guess I have really oily skin so using it on my face doesn’t seem to bother me in the slightest. Plus I make sure to use a very small amount.

With all the personal lubricants and shampoos I would not be surprised if they stopped making face care products altogether. j/k

LMAO! http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif Personally I'd never use shampoo to wash my face because most would be too drying and I prefer to use something that is actually meant for the face. Any soap can be used to clean, but that doesn't mean I'd use laundry detergent or dish soap on my face or body. But I guess shampoo is alright as long as it's working for you. Good luck http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I never would have thought of this, but good luck with it!

I'm sure I'd break out in the worst allergic reaction, as always. http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Glad it's working for you, but my face would freak if I did that.

Whenever I buy a shampoo that I end up hating, I use it up by putting it in my liquid hand soap dispenser in the bathroom. It's a great way to use up all of those half empty bottles of shampoo. I bought a big, huge bottle of Tresemme that I hate because it's way too heavy and overly moisturizing for my hair, but works great for my hands. Smells great, too.

Wow, I hope that continues to work for you. I think shampoo would be too harsh for my sensitive skin.

I use Head to Toe too, but it's also a body wash. So not too off the wall. http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
