Summer is almost here. Which leads me to ask this question, is there 'anything' that can improve stretch marks & cellulite?? Diets, vitamins, creams, tanning etc..etc. Share your secrets. Looking forward to reading your replies.

I have a few small stretch marks on my upper, inner thigh. It's weird 'cause I never had a growth spurt, but oh well. I find that self tanner really helps minimize them-it kind of acts like camoflauge (sp?) or something.

Mederma works well. You have to put it on morning and night, but my stretch marks were completely faded in about a month.

Me and my stretchmarks were cool..there were about all faded on place anybody could see them..then a while back ago a couple popped up on my lower stomach from losing weight of all things!!!! http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_mad.gif I'd do anything to get rid of them. </span>

When I was pregnant I slathered my belly with pure cocoa butter every night..I can’t say this was the reason I didn’t get stretch marks..but I definitely think it helped. I don’t think cocoa butter does a thing after the fact though, in terms of making them disappear. But hey why not try the Mederma rec.

How about cellulite? I haven't found anything, or rather haven't bothered trying anything hehe, that reduces it.

I just bought the Loreal sublime slim night and day gels and the Avon Cellusculpt. My cellulite isn't that bad but its bad enough for me not to wear shorts. To add to it I have white legs. I think I am in need of some self tanner but I am not the disciplined type when it comes to applying these kinds of products.

I used to have some cellulite on my thighs. Then I cut refined carbs out of my diet and started drinking distilled water and it went away completely. My thighs are now perfectly smooth. The same thing happened to my sister when she cut out refined carbs and switched to distilled water.

Not a personal testimony but I've heard StriVectin works for both conditions.

My mom told me when she was pregnant with me she used cocoa butter every night, and she was so big because I was a huge baby (11.5 lbs), and she got NO stretch marks, we think the cocoa butter helped. I also agree with the recs for mederma, great stuff

Refined carbs are carbohydrates like white bread, white rice, any sugary snacks, chips. The good carbs are whole wheat bread, any kind of beans, veggies etc...Anything that is man made is pretty much refined.
