I would like to start making my own hand/body scrubs and am looking for some recipes. I have the one with extra virgin olive oil and sugar, but would like some others for variety. Also, where do you get some different oils to mix with the sugar, or can you use something like B&BW massage oils mixed with sugar (will it be moisturizing enough)? Thanks!

I don't have any recipes but i would try healthfood stores for the oils. Apricot kernel oil is supposed to be a good one.

I use Cetaphil gsc and sugar on my face and with the left overs I give my hands a good scrub and I find that it works just as well on my hands.

The massage oils should work fine. Just make up a tiny batch at first, and see how it goes. http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Recipe:
Brown sugar + vanilla extract from your kitchen + orange essential oil + base oil = orange creamsicle scrub so scrumptious you want to eat it!
You could even try orange extract instead of the essential oil; whichever's cheapest or most readily available. I don't remember what base oil (though it was probably cheap olive oil; the cheaper the better) I used but this stuff was gooooooood.

I'm a big experimenter with this kind of thing. I thought about taking some of the light, inexpensive body sprays I'm liking (like Calgon 'Tahitian Orchid' (I think that's the name)) and adding them to white sugar and some oil. If you try that before I do, let me know!

You can buy different oils from a health food store or larger supermarkets. Also there are many on-lines stores.
