anyone tried revlon LE SL glosses?

i am such a sucker for LE.
(especially for revlon SL..i own 12 now and 8 of them are LE http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_redface.gif)

today, i ended up buying Rose Blaze and Blazing Fuchsia from the summer collection.
i think rose blaze is a keeper but i am not sure about the fuchsia one.
i tried to find some reviews from mua but nothing there,yet..

has anyone tried this color?
i can pull off fuchsia in general but don't wear this color that often..and i already have some fuchsia lipglosses like CJ in tutti fruitti, WSD in plum solitare and etc.

Oooh, can't help you choose between Fuschia & Apricot (waaaay too different, and I can't wear fuschia LOL http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif ), but I CAN tell you that the Apricot l/g is very sheer, and takes more work to show up on my pigmented lips than I'd have liked.

If you like/need more pigment, you might want to check out the Bronze l/g! HTH!

I have it and I don't think it's really fuchsia. It's more a hot pink color quite similar to other LE SLG's of the past. I agree with Christine, if I were to exchange it for one it would be the bronze one since that shows up better on my lips than the apricot one does (and my lips arent as pigmented as Christines)

I love the apricot one, and if I was going to exchange it, I'd get the apricot. However, I'm not the best judge, as I own both the rose and bronze ones and haven't used them yet, LOL! The bronze is awfully gorgeous as well...

I can't help you choose between the Apricot and Fuschia either (don't have the latter), but here are my thoughts on the new LE SL glosses I have:

It takes a lot of work to get Apricot Glaze to show up on me too. It shows up basically clear on me worn on its own. If your lips aren't all that pigmented, you might not have any problem though. The shade is gorgeous in the tube. I like to wear AG over lipstick (looks great over a pinky coral shade), and I also wear it over lips lined and filled in with a nude lip liner.

I love Bronze Ablaze, but the shimmer particles tend to travel around the mouth area. I don't know if anyone else has had this problem though. At least the shimmer isn't gritty, which is a plus.

could anyone compare this apricot glaze with sunrise nude(which was an LE for spring, came in a set with a nail polish, very sheer peach with silver shimmers) in pigmentation?
i do like the sunrise nude color, but it just gives me a hint of peach on my lips.

what do you guys think on this? ^ ^

Funny you should mention Raisin Glaze, as it's one of the first SL l/gs that I bought when they first came out, and while I *thought* I could wear it well, it turns out I can't http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif (I just recently put this one aside for a giveaway).

It may look similar to the Bronze Ablaze gloss in the tube, but when applied, the Raisin looks much more berry-toned on me (again, with the pigmented lips), whereas the Bronze looks much more brown-toned by comparison (and I can WEAR this one! http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif ).

Does that help at all?
