I'm not sure if it's still cool to be my age and wear trendy retro tees, but dangit--I like em! Where do you guys like to get your tees? I probably need to steer clear of the 'boys are icky' variety....that would really look a bit sad on a girl my age!

I love vintage-y tees from Urban Outfitters, they have a great selection.
American Eagle/Hollister/Abercrombie always have billions of slogan tees, every so often I find one that I can't resist.

Sjoprice - you and I are the same age, and I love wearing those tees! I've picked up a couple a activeendeavors.com http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

AE and Old Navy are my favorites, Hollister sometimes (like if they are on sale) but also check out places like Gabes. Yeah, you have to take time to check for little holes and flaws lol but 98% of the time there is nothing wrong with the stuff there except a seam was sewn twice instead of once or something silly like that. Same brands found at the mall but way cheaper. I recently got a $60 pair of jeans (Hot Kiss) for only $15 and 2 pairs of $35 pants (Playboy) for only $10 each. If you don't mind the hunt, it's the way to go. http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
Old Navy. I get the XXL (size 14-16) in the kid's department and they make great baby tees. Since I'm almost 33, I too stear away from the ones that are too cutesy. I get the solid tees for $4 each and they come in great colors. Gap is great also when I catch them during a sale.

I get T-shirts from the thrift store and then cut and sew them to size. There is also this great vintage store in my area w/ a bunch of cute tees.

Urban Outfitters! They are kind of expensive, but the perfect fit of these makes them well worth the price.

I'm also going to go with Old Navy http://community.icompact.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif They have tons of cuts and colors, for good prices. GAP too.
If you get the VS catalog, they have some pretty cute plain shirts too.
