Someone posted about their migraines getting better with preventatives. Anyone know anything that works?

I've had a migraine Sat, Mon, Tues, Wed, and still hurting Thurs and today. Not sure if it's the same headache or new one at this point. I'm kind of maxed out on meds and can't take anything else. The dr gave me toradol pills yest but I can only take 3 in 24 hours. So far the headache is still with me and getting worse. The migraines come with my period and usually are worse at the end. The last day is today and not sure I can stand more pain.

I hope you feel better soon! I used to get migraines when I was around 12 years old. They are the worst.

My mom used to get them really bad, one time it was so bad she forgot all of her kids' names and she forgot how to use the phone to call my dad, and then she blacked out for about an hour. After that she went on inderall and now she never gets them. She will get the beginning of one, when you see the ora (I know im spelling that wrong, but it's like when you see the dots or squiggly lines or whatever that signify a migraine is coming,) but she never gets the actual migraine anymore

Thanks, Melissa. I'll ask my doctor about inderal.
