Anybody ever done the "bonded" hair extensions?

Has anyone heard of them before? They do them on all of the makeover shows now. They start by sectioning out your real hair and then bonding a teeny extension onto a small section of your hair by using a "cold fusion" gun. I am going to get it done next week as a birthday present from my boyfriend, and I just wanted to see what other people's results were. Thanks!
